How to get here

Aberfoyle is located in the heart of the Loch Lomond Trossachs National Park.

From Edinburgh
Easily accessible from Scotlands capital, Edinburgh (Approximately 50 miles) and nearby Glasgow (22 miles). Its unique location makes for an easy find from the major motorways and City airports.

 

From Glasgow
Follow the A81 North, which is well signed from the City centre.

From Stirling
Follow the A84, A873 and then onto the A81 West to Aberfoyle.

From Callander
Follow the A81 South to Aberfoyle or, if you want a more scenic option you can take the A821 ‘Dukes Pass’. An iconic road climb which winds its way round the banks of Loch Achray then climbing past the shoulder of Ben Venue before dropping you straight into Aberfoyle.

Public Transport:
Buses can be taken directly from Stirling Train Station - Currently, only compact, folding bikes are permitted.

Dukes Weekender

Bike Trossachs operates Scotland’s largest gravel riding event The Dukes Weekender. Now in its 4th year ‘the Dukes’ has become the must visit event on the gravel bike calendar with over 500 people flocking to the village each year to participate.

The event features the iconic Dukes Pass hillclimb event, a 80km Gravel Enduro, kids events, pumptrack and lots more.
